INDICATIONS
Prilosec is used for treating heartburn or irritation from the esophagus caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It may also be utilized for short-term treating ulcers with the stomach or small intestines. It may also be used with certain antibiotics to take care of ulcers of the small intestines and to aid the prevention of them from finding its way back. It may also supply to treat issues that cause one's body to make too much stomach acid (eg, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome). Prilosec is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by lowering the level of acid manufactured in the stomach.

STORAGE
Store Prilosec at room temperature, between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Store far from heat, moisture, and lightweight. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Prilosec out in the reach of kids and far from pets.
