INDICATIONS
Cardizem is utilized for treating supraventricular tachycardia, a rhythm disturbance of the heart. It is also useful for controlling heartbeat response to other rhythm disturbances, specifically, atrial fibrillation and flutter. Cardizem is really a calcium channel blocker. It works by slowing the electrical conduction within the heart, slowing heart rate, and/or normalizing heart rhythm.
INSTRUCTIONS
Use Cardizem as directed because of your doctor.

STORAGE
Store Cardizem at room temperature from moisture as well as heat. Keep Cardizem out of the reach of children and faraway from pets.

Severe hypersensitive reactions (rash; hives; itching; breathlessness; tightness inside chest; swelling with the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); hallucinations; irregular heartbeat; swelling with the feet or hands; signs and symptoms of liver problems (eg, yellowing in the skin or eyes, dark urine, pale stools); tender, bleeding, or swollen gums.
