The loss with the cytoplasmic microtubules leads to impaired uptake of glucose from the larval and adult stages in the susceptible parasites, and depletes their glycogen stores. Degenerative modifications in the endoplasmic reticulum, the mitochondria in the germinal layer, as well as the subsequent relieve lysosomes bring about decreased production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is the energy required for your survival in the helminth.
